DALLAS, Wednesday, August 24, 2011– Fit-for-Me Foundation announces the 2011 recipient of its Educational Scholarship Program geared to encourage fitness and wellness education in young people.

Ariel Comeau is a senior at Southern Methodist University on the path to receiving a Bachelor of Science in Applied Physiology and Sport Management with a minor in Dance Performance. She is pursuing a career in the Health and Fitness industry with the goal of assisting others to instill healthier lifestyle choices to improve their fitness and overall wellbeing.

“I have met Ariel and admire her passion for what she does. The Fit-for-Me Scholarship could not have gone to a better person,” says Don Miguel.

Through her position as a group exercise instructor at SMU and an intern at Equinox, Ariel is further equipping herself for new career opportunities upon graduation. She plans to open an environmentally sustainable fitness studio offering a variety of classes such as Aerobics, Pilates, Step, and Yoga.
